LOCATION: Working from Home. [Initially] 

Hours: Monday to Friday 9AM-6PM.

SALARY: £28,000

 

OVERVIEW

THE SPREAD empowers others through food and beverage. We do this by supporting the strategic and commercial aims of public and private landowners by providing a data driven approach to establishing, developing and optimising their food and drinks offerings at a wide range of developments including new public realm, shopping centres, parks and iconic venues across London.

We operate via permanent units, concessions, events and pop up markets that provide a platform for independent emerging and established food and beverage brands to flourish by following  a low risk, easy to navigate means of setting up and developing their business. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

We are searching for Marketing Manager who can harness the data from our centralised Trade Partner payment system and leverage all of the marketing channels at your disposal and go all guns blazin' to work towards helping our Trade Partners exceed their  desired sales revenue, maximise the visitor experience at our markets to increase dwell time and income potential for The Spread and our land host partners. 

 

ROLE OBJECTIVES

 

  • Work autonomously to define and continually optimise a strategy to establish procedures and develop reporting mechanisms that contribute to reducing the variance between our Trade Partners actual and desired sales.

  • Review, report and improving key metrics including spend per head, average Trade Partner Sales and actual/desired variance.  

  • Growth of newsletter database, social media followers and engagement. 

  • Social Media and newsletter campaigns.

  • Website Content Management

  • Extensive community outreach amonst local residents and businesses

  • A firm understanding of Facebook Ads, the results it can bring an ability to execute these ads on your own.

  • Develop paid for banded marketing supporting mechanism packages for our Trade Partners to include photography, paid ads, online sales.

  • Partnership Marketing, activation of complimentary community pitches as well as local sponsorship.  

  • Develop and maintain a network of musicians and entertainment.

  • Print marketing design via Indesign or Illustrator.

  • Working alongside other external stakeholders including landowner marketing departments and agencies. 

  • To provide a cohesive and consistent tone of voice and message at The Spread markets, online and B2B and in B2C communications.

  • Owning the relationship between The Spread and it's  Trade Partners online to provide clear and effective guidelines to broaden our reach via our partner network.

  • Website optimisation and SEO 

  • Develop a platform for online sales via social media and website

  • Improve data capture and customer insight

  • To increase Trade Partner weekly review scores

  • Establish regular reporting procedures for internal usage and measure output of all marketing initiates.

  • Utilise our Event Management team in order to gather marketing collateral.

 

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Willingness to work occasional weekends as and when required to amongst other things content collateral creation.

  • To cover occasional Event Manager holiday and work on six weekend days per annum.

  • Two years experience in online marketing

  • Huge amounts of willingness and drive.

  • A self starter with a no nonsense approach.

  • Accurate and process driven.

  • Kind, personable with high levels of empathy.

  • Not taking things personal when it gets tough.

  • Solid commercial mindset, an eye for the numbers and how to improve them.
